Important use and safety guidance

• The engine is supplied without oil. Add the correct engine oil before the first start.
• Operate outdoors only, well away from doors, windows and vents; generator exhaust contains deadly carbon monoxide.
• Keep the unit dry and correctly earthed, and never connect it directly to building wiring without a qualified electrician and approved changeover system.
• Switch off loads before starting or stopping and allow the unit to cool before refuelling.
• Do not overload the generator; account for appliance starting current.
